A fabulous four days in this idyllic spot. Yoga, laughter, tears, delicious food and silent walks with an inspiring group of women. What more could you ask for? Thank you Tamsin for creating such a welcoming, beautiful place. Space to be on your own or to relax and chill out. I arrived tired, stressed and in need of a break from my two young kids, and left refreshed and revitalized, with an inner peace that I hope will last for a long time! I'd thoroughly recommend a stay here to anyone who is open to being nurtured physically, spiritually and emotionally. I'll be back!

Before I started my yoga journey I found yoga intimidating. Tamsin's down-to-earth approach is refreshing, I spent 10 days with her in India where I got to really understand where yoga came from, the impact it has on your wellbeing and finding some stillness in a very crazy world. 
It's inspiring to be around someone that understands what its like being 24/7 and has the capability to push you without you even knowing it. Teaching you how important is to actually think about your body, what you are eating and finding balance and happiness. I have lost weight but happy to have found a yoga teacher that takes me back to the basics.

As soon as we arrived at Little French Retreat we realised it was even better than it looks in the brochure . The house is beautifully restored with a calm feeling / stylish decor that fitted the relaxing atmosphere that we were looking for on our break. Tamsin is a great host and presented us with lovingly prepared meals for breakfast and dinner, each full of healthy ingredients. Tamsin is an experienced yoga teacher and this showed both in her own ability and in her knowledge of the tradition of yoga, added to this the yoga space is cool, calm, and well resourced. When looking for time out between classes and meals the garden space around the house is perfect for relaxing in, it is very peaceful, and there are flowers and shrubs in abundance.

I stayed with Tamsin for a long yoga weekend and what a treat it was. My yoga practice had dwindled recently due to illness and it was wonderful to be taught by such a gentle, warm and intuitive teacher who made me feel completely at ease. She immediately tuned into what I needed and we did a lovely practice which included breath work, relaxation and postures. By the end of the weekend I felt completely lifted and reconnected with my body. Bliss.
The house is beautiful and the garden a complete sanctuary. There was plenty of time for rest alongside the practice. Tamsin has thought of everything, things you might not have even realized you needed. The food was healthy, delicious, imaginative and plentiful. To top it all off, there’s the lovely Sofie, Tamsin’s dog, who is great company and always up for a cuddle or a stroke. I’m already planing my next trip here!

We had such a fantastic stay at The Little French Retreat earlier this year. Tamsin our host was extremely accommodating and the whole atmosphere and experience was incredibly relaxing and calming. Tamsin is also a wonderful cook and made beautiful, healthy and delicious vegetarian food throughout our stay. I highly recommend The Little French Retreat and look forward to returning soon!

Tamsin, thank you from the bottom of my heart for an amazing experience that brought together three of my favorite things; yoga, travel, and time to relax with Mark. To be able to let go and allow all the little details to be taken care of was enormously relaxing. Everything we could have asked for was already considered and catered to: onsite Ayurvedic massage, rooftop yoga set at an even pace, delicious healthy food (I hardly realized I was on a cleansing diet,) clean spacious rooms that opened to a stunning view of the Arabian Sea, genuinely friendly staff, daily outings that felt less touristy and more like we were visiting your own favorite haunts- the Chai and Indian donut at the canal side cafe have no equal! In addition, we spent the time in great company. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone on the trip, so many interesting people from all different walks of life. I don't think it would have been possible to have a better vacation. To add to this you have a unique and special talent, the way you flawlessly put this trip together and wove in all these different personalities, giving each of us what we needed even if we didn't know it at the time. You are inspiring.

The yoga was perfect, tailored to needs of the group, pushed us all in some places but did not leave anyone behind. Options available for ability which I liked making it great for beginners and those who regularly practice.  3 – 4 hours is spot on.  Your fluid style suited me very well….a framework plan that you are happy to flex around as required so nothing felt too fixed / meant we got rest where needed.  I felt you led us through the retreat clearly, in a very relaxed confident way.  Importantly you read the group well and I think that makes everyone feel seen, heard and confident in you – and you allowed individuals the space to choose for themselves where and how they engage which is empowering and ultimately practices what is needed for when we return to our lives and you are not there to “make us” do stuff !​​​​​​​
